The shred economy is now open to all Robinhood validators.
When acting as block leader, the most valuable data on the network is being produced. ZeroMesh Edge turns that into a direct revenue stream, without changing how the validator operates.
Publishing shreds to multicast makes them available to subscribed trading firms. Subscription revenue flows back to validators proportional to the leader shreds they originate.
There are no billing relationships, no invoices, and no negotiation. Distribution is handled programmatically by the protocol each epoch.
Ecosystem participation continues to expand the shred distribution layer.
Revenue generated from Robinhood Shreds subscriptions is distributed across network participants. There is no validator size requirement to participate.
Payments are distributed in 2Z ten epochs after fees are earned (approximately 20 days). To receive SOL or USDC instead, a validator can specify a destination address and select their preferred reward type.
First, 10% of revenue in 2Z is burned for protocol security.
The remaining 90% is distributed as follows:
ZeroMesh network contributors, proportional to contribution
Shred-originating validators, proportional to leader shreds
Protocol client teams, proportional to shred distribution

Data Distribution Architecture
Multicast removes the propagation hierarchy that previously determined who received shreds first, while also creating a path that moves faster than Turbine paths. Instead of data moving through a chain of validator-to-validator forwards, shreds can now be sent across the network simultaneously.
